Beaches Apart from the historical treasures, Side is also bestowed with nature’s bounty. Deep blue Mediterranean Sea, gust of fresh air and two extraordinary beaches of golden coloured sand on either side.
Manavgat This waterfall is a cozy stop with restaurants, shops and attracts many tourists. Also from here you can take boat trips along the emerald green waters of the Manavgat river. Manavgat is also great for shopping.
Belek - 30 km (18 miles), 20 mins Belek is a developing Golf Center of Turkey. It has many golf courses of an international standard where play is possible all year round. The golf fields are planned so they set preferences and expectations of European golf players. In Belek, the perfect sight of the golf fields present the wonderful panorama and landscape of the neighbourhood while providing the golf players with excellent golf pleasure and competition. The Kursunlu Waterfall is worth a visit in Belek. There are over 100 bird species living by this natural wonder. The hidden cave at the back of the waterfall is also a popular place for visiting.
Antalya / Aspedos - 37 km (23 miles), 30 mins Antalya is one of the largest city in Turkey and hosts the Aspendos theatre, which was built in 167 A.D. by architect Zeno, son of Theodorius. It contains 40 rows of marble banks built against a hilltop and used to accommodate 15,000 people in its heydays. This Hellenistic theatre was built during the reign of Marcus Aurelius and was dedicated to the Gods. It was built by two brothers, as a gift to the city, and till date it is extremely well preserved and very much in use. Aspendos also has a 225m long historical bridge that was built by an Anatolian emperor in the 13th century. This bridge has been recently restored and houses souvenir shops. Apart from these, Aspendos is endowed with the remnants of a Basilica, Agora and one of the largest aqueducts (100 A.D.) in Anatolia.
Kunsulu Waterfalls - 25 km, 25 mins It's a great family outing at Kunsulu Waterfalls, walk along the river, go right up to the waterfall, plenty of open space for picnic/BBQ. It's also very easy to find and well sign posted. Alanya - 63 km (39 miles), 45 mins There is a lot of history in Alanya, particular hot spots are Alanya Museum, Weeping Cave, Red Tower and the Alanya Harbour.
Aqua Park One hour drive from Side is one of the largest Aquaparks in the area. There's vast choice of Pools and Water Slides to enjoy. There's also a Dolphin and Sealion show where you can swim with the dolphins.
